Rental Details

3. Insurance
All insurance cover is subject to a standard excess of £750. In the event of any damage to either the vehicle or third party property, the hirer will be liable for the first £750. The hirer will also be fully liable for replacement or repair of windscreen or tyre damage.

4. Security Deposit
There is a refundable £750 Security Deposit payable by cash, traveller’s cheque or credit card. The £750 deposit is fully refundable on return of the vehicle to the agreed location, on the agreed date and time, in the same condition as it was let out to you.

5. Cancellation Charges
• More than 6 weeks before: (Booking Deposit only)
• 6 weeks - 2 weeks: 50% of total hire charge
• 2 weeks - No Show: 100% of total hire charge
Cool Camper Hire reserves the right to cancel a hire at the commencement of hire, if the driver’s licence is invalid or is not in accordance with the conditions set out in the Terms & Conditions. In such circumstances the total hire charge will be forfeited by the hirer.

6. Airports, Railways and Ports!
Upon request and for a supplementary charge, pick-up and drop off at all Airports, Railway Stations and Ports can be arranged. Call Cool Camper Hire on 07828427551 for details.

7. Drivers
Age limits: 25 to 70 years (we’re very sorry if you’re outside this age bracket but insurance policies dictate).

9. Payment
A reservation is only binding after it has been confirmed by Cool Camper Hire via email or post (depending on the choice of the hirer) and a down payment of £300 per week of hire has been received. Once the reservation is confirmed, an invoice will be issued by email or post for the remaining balance. Settlement of the remaining balance will be due six weeks prior to the departure date.

Payment by credit card (Visa or Mastercard) will be subject to a 2.5% charge. However there is no charge for debit cards. Cheques in Pounds Sterling, traveller’s cheques and cash are also accepted.

For late bookings (less than six weeks before departure) the full rental price is payable on booking. Vehicles will not be released without full payment being completed. Cheques will not be acceptable for bookings made less than 2 weeks prior to departure.

10. Collection and Returns

Collection
Please allow 1 hour for the hand-over - to complete the documentation and for us to show you around your vehicle. Please also allow the same on your return.
The hirer acknowledges delivery of the vehicle and the contents free from any defect or damage and complete other than as specified by Cool Camper Hire. The hirer is advised to check the vehicle thoroughly before leaving the depot.

Return
Upon return we will check the vehicle for damage, cleanliness, etc., including the condition of the tyres and windscreen which are not included in the insurance cover, any such damage is the hirer's responsibility.
The vehicle must be returned on the date and not later than the time stated on the rental agreement. All vehicles must be returned to Cool Camper Hire at the agreed address. No refund is given for the early return of the vehicle.
Late return: If you will be late returning you must advise us immediately. An additional charge of £50 per hour will be payable for all late returns (the maximum daily additional charge will be the daily rental charge). Should the return of the vehicle make us liable for extra costs (e.g. compensation of the next hirer), then we reserve the right to pass on these costs to you.

11. Parking
During your period of hire, secure outside parking is available free of charge. Cool Camper Hire, however, does not accept any liability whatsoever for the vehicles or contents thereof, left by hirer’s.

12. Breakdown
In the unlikely event of a breakdown Cool Camper Hire subscribes to an emergency breakdown service which is at the disposal of the hirer.

13. Smoking
Smoking is not permitted in any of our vehicles, any damage repair costs or extra valeting costs caused by smoking must be paid for in full by the hirer.
