Q: Are the Campervans new, (I thought they’d stopped making them in the seventies)?

A: Yes the vans are brand new. They’re built by VW in Brazil and the imported vans are converted by a UK company.

Q: How old must I be to hire a Cool Camper Hire vehicle?

A: 25 years and over.

Q: What happens if our Campervan breaks down?

A: Not likely but for your peace of mind, you have full roadside assistance, covering both the UK and the rest of Europe. This means you’re covered wherever you go, 24/7.

Q: How many people can you sleep in a van?

A: The T2’s are classed as 4 berth but better suited to sleeping 2 adults + 2 children or 3 adults. (Max weight in the roof bed approximately 80 Kg.) For more sleeping space try out the awnings!

Q: Can we take our bikes?

A: Yes. Our vans each have a bike rack which is included in the hire price. Each rack holds two bikes.

Q: Are the Campervans left or right hand drive?

A: Our vans are right hand drive.

Q: Can we take the vans abroad?

A: Yes but there is a fee to cover additional insurance, breakdown cover and documentation requirements. Prices available on request!
